The most direct way to Merry Crab Cove is by boat. We can meet guests during daylight hours at Captain Andy's Boatyard in Watamu, APPOINTMENT ESSENTIAL, tide permitting.
By road, turn off at the Matsangoni-Uyombo turn off, a village on the north coast's Mombasa-Malindi highway, 30 km north of Kilifi bridge, 15 km south of the Watamu/Gede turnoff and 30km south of Malindi Airport.
Merry Crab Cove is 5 km from the Matsangoni-Uyombo turn off. Both pickup points are well known and easily accessible from Kilifi, Watamu and Malindi by local transport, tuck-tuck, boda-boda/motorbike-taxi or matata.
If guests are flying in, arrangements can be made for a transfer from the Malindi airport to Merry Crab Cove..
In the distance, atop a coral outcrop, if you look carefully, you will see a quaint Italian restaurant. It's within walking distance of Merry Crab Cove. In the opposite direction, further into the creek, there's a small fishing village, Bandarini, frequented by fishing dhows, some from as far off as Zanzibar!
